The phrase Millennial Dom is a play on my dominatrix identity. Being born in the late ’80s has placed me in a position where I have experienced not only three different decades but also two different millennia. My time on this planet has been in a time of exciting growth and development for our society. While I have existed in a time of change, many of the changes that I’ve seen in this era cause many in our society to be held back with a lack of respect, compassion, structure, and discipline.

Who am I and what is my role in this world? I am but a simple piece of fallen firmament from the cosmos. A star child, healer, teacher, and oracle. But one of our society’s many black sheep, not from the masses, nor a novelty. Here to awaken and spread awareness. Forever growing and learning. Here to teach.

For years, I’ve worn many masks. Pre-pandemic, as a safeguard… Armor for the protection of my identity. The more I practiced wearing this mask, the more it became fused to my skin. I started not to care about trying to remove it. It wasn’t about worrying that I may be recognized outside of this life. But the longer I wore this mask, the more it became part of me.

The mask’s control over me intensified the more I transitioned into Dom space. While it controlled me, it also gave me confidence and encouraged me to grow more in this lifestyle. Taking off the mask made me feel as if I was removing a limb. I never felt complete unless I was covered by my mask. Though they are empowering, today I no longer am codependent on masks (but I do still LOVE them so). I no longer need them to validate my existence, or to hide what I’ve done and what I will continue to do. Dominate. Who I am, with or without a mask is not what others who do not know me, think me to be. I am simply ME!

And you… No one really has yet to see you in your true form. That can make it difficult for them to comprehend. It takes time to peel off that mask.

The ocean reflects the sky but is the ocean the sky?

While it makes the water appear blue, what you see is not always what you get. Yet what we present really matters to exactly who? It should only matter to you.

Show us all of you, not just your reflection.

It’s better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not.

With or without a mask…
